The family-friendly circular route boasts a wealth of wildlife, countryside and stunning views, making it hard to believe you are only two miles from the M25!
In addition to a host of native birds, keep your eyes and ears peeled for green parrots and scampering squirrels. In spring you will find snowdrops, violets, primroses, wild garlic and blossom. The woodlands will be alive with anemones and bluebells in summer, and in autumn, enjoy the changing colours on the trees and ferns on the heath. In winter you’ll have great views of the surrounding areas visible through the bare trees, including Joydens Woods, Dartford, Bexley and further on towards Grays and Tilbury.
